Seribu Islands Health Sub-dept. Intensifies TB Screening

Seribu Islands Health Sub-dept. already held Grebek Tuberkulosis (TB) program in 11 inhabited islands. Early detection and treatment are done directly to people with tuberculosis disease.

We will continue to hold Grebek TB

Seribu Islands Health Sub-dept.'s TB Program Vice Supervisor, Nurfauzah informed this program has been done from March 1-24, 2018.

"We found two people with tuberculosis through Grebek TB. They have treated and healed. Now, our personnel and TB cadres are monitoring them until they are fully recovered," she said, Wednesday (3/28).

OK O-Care Program must Be More Optimized

She added, personnel are also screening family members of the patients to prevent TB transmission.

"We will continue to hold Grebek TB," she conveyed.
